Tan Sri Abu Sahid was appointed as a Chairman of Kinsteel in 2007. He is presently the Group Executive Chairman of Maju Holdings Sdn Bhd Group of Companies.
Besides serving on the Board of Perwaja, Tan Sri Abu Sahid sits on the board of Konsortium Lapangan Terjaya Sdn Bhd, is the Executive Chairman and major shareholder of Ipmuda Berhad, Group Executive Chairman of Bright Focus Berhad, a director of MTH Power Berhad (formerly known as Perwaja Berhad) and an alternate director and major shareholder in Pulai Springs Berhad. Tan Sri Abu Sahid also holds directorship in various other private limited companies.
In addition, he is the Honorary President of the Selangor and Federal Territory Engineering and Motor Parts Traders Association.

Dato' Md Sharif bin Shamsuddin
Independent Non-Executive Deputy Chairman
Dato’ Md Sharif was appointed as the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Kinsteel in 1994 and subsequently redesignated as the Independent Non-Executive Deputy Chairman in 2007.
Dato’ Md Sharif brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the public sector. He also sits on the board of several other private limited companies in Malaysia.
Dato’ Md Sharif holds a degree in Anthropolgy and Sociology (Honours) from the University of Malaya, a diploma in Public Administration and a diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom.
Tan Sri Dato' Pheng Yin Huah
Managing Director
Tan Sri Dato’ Pheng was appointed as a Director in 1991 and subsequently was appointed as the Managing Director of Kinsteel in 1991.
His involvement in the steel industry for the past thirty years has earned him the recognition and respect as one of the leading businessmen in the steel industry.
Tan Sri Dato’ Pheng is also the Managing Director of Kin Kee Hardware Sdn Bhd, Kin Kee Metal Sdn Bhd, Kin Kee Properties Sdn Bhd and Perniagaan Kin Kee Sdn Bhd which are involved in trading of iron, metal and steel products and property development. He also sits on the board of several other private limited companies. In addition to the above, Tan Sri Dato’ Pheng is also actively involved in social work.
Dato' Henry Pheng Chin Guan
Chief Executive Officer
Dato’ Henry Pheng was appointed as an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kinsteel in 1997.
Together with Tan Sri Dato’ Pheng, he is responsible for formulating and implementing Kinsteel Group’s business policy and corporate strategy. In addition, he also manages the overall operations of Kinsteel.
Dato’ Henry Pheng graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. He is a full member of the CPA Australia and a chartered accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Dato' Abu Talib bin Mohamed
Non-Executive Director
Dato’ Abu Talib was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in 2007. He was also appointed as a member of the Audit Committee in 2007.
He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of United Kingdom and also a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Dato’ Abu Talib has extensive knowledge of the steel industry as he was formerly the Director of Operations for Perwaja Steel Sdn Bhd in Kemaman, prior to joining Maju Holdings Sdn Bhd as Group Executive Director in 1992. He has been the Group Managing Director of Maju Holdings since 1993.
Dato’ Abu Talib is the Deputy Chairman of Ipmuda Berhad and also a director of Mycron Steel Berhad. He is also a director of various other private limited companies.
Dato' Hong Thian Hock
Executive Director
Dato’ Hong was appointed as an Executive Director in 1991.
With more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the steel industry, he has been instrumental in spearheading the progress and development of the trading division of Kin Kee Marketing Sdn Bhd. He also heads the management committee for the Kinsteel Production Division where he is directly involved in the production expansion programmes, business development and research and development of new products for the Group. He also sits on the board of various other private limited companies.

Dato' Lew Choon
Executive Director
Dato’ Lew was appointed as an Executive Director in 1991.
He has been involved in the steel industry for more than 20 years and has accumulated much invaluable hands-on experience and exposure in all respect of the steel business. He is currently the Director responsible for marketing, production planning and quality control for the Kinsteel Group. He also sits on the board of various other private limited companies.
Datin Hong Cheng Guat
Executive Director
Datin Hong is an Executive Director in Kinsteel, and is the Group Finance Manager.
With over 25 years of experience, she has gained extensive practical experience in the finance, accounts and administration functions. As the Group Finance Manager, she has the overall control of the finance and administrative activities of the Group, which include preparation of accounts and budgets, credit control and treasury of the Kinsteel Group. She is also responsible in developing a comprehensive and effective human resource management and office administration programme for the Group. In addition, she is also in charge of the logistic and purchasing activities of the Kinsteel Group.
She also sits on the board of various other private limited companies.
Dato' Pheng Chin Kiat
Executive Director
Dato’ Pheng is an Executive Director of Kinsteel.
He is currently the Executive Director of Kin Kee Properties Sdn Bhd and Kin Kee Development Sdn Bhd. He also sits on the board of various other private limited companies.
Dato’ Pheng graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree from Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. He is also a full member of the CPA Australia and chartered accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Pheng Chin Huat
Non-Executive Director
Mr Pheng was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Kinsteel in 2002.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from University of Central Oklahoma in 1996. After graduating, he joined Mutiara Besi Logam Sdn Bhd and MBL Trading Sdn Bhd, both steel trading companies, as Executive Director. He also sits on the board of various other private limited companies.
Kamaruddin bin Koskani Abdul Hamid
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr Kamaruddin was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Kinsteel in 1996.
He is currently holding the post of a General Manager in YP Plantation Holdings Sdn Bhd and has also been appointed as the Alternate Director of Tafi Industries Berhad.
Mr Kamaruddin holds a Master of Business Administration from University Utara Malaysia.
Dato' Mohamed Fuad bin Yon

Dato’ Mohamed Fuad was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Kinsteel in 2007.
He is currently a director of Maju Holdings Sdn Bhd, a director of Ipmuda Berhad and Bright Focus Berhad as well as a director of various other private limited companies. He is also a Board member of RISDA and Benaris Property Sdn Bhd.
Dato’ Mohamed Fuad is a demographer by profession having qualified from University College Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom.

Shamsudin @ Samad bin Kassim
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr Shamsudin was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Kinsteel in 2002. He was also appointed as the Chairman of the Audit Committee in 2002 and as the Chairman of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee in 2003.
Mr Shamsudin possesses more than 30 years of experience in Government service and last held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Small and Medium Industry Development Corporation prior to retirement in 2001. He is the Chairman of Boon Koon Group Berhad and also sits on the Board of various listed and private limited companies such as, Century Logistics Holdings Berhad, Ingress Corporation Berhad and Kinsteel Bhd.
He graduated in 1970 with a Bachelor of Economics degree from University Malaya and completed his Masters degree in Public and International Affairs (MPIA) from University of Pittsburgh, United States of America in 1979.
Chong Hoi Sheong @ Chong Hoi Cheong
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr Chong was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director in 2002. He was also appointed as a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee in 2003 and a member of the Audit Committee in 2003.
He had served as a teacher in several schools in and held the position of an acting Principal in Sekolah Menengah Paya Besar, Kuantan, prior to retirement. Subsequently, he joined a property-based company as the manager, formed a property development company and is currently active in the day-to-day operations of the company.
Pheng Chin Shiun
Alternate Director to Datin Hong Cheng Guat
Mr Pheng was appointed as an Alternate Director to Datin Hong Cheng Guat.
He is currently the Managing Director of PCS Vision Sdn Bhd, an electronic system provider. He also sits on the board of various other private limited companies.
Mr Pheng graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from University of Malaya.
